Hey there! I’m Chia, and I thrive on conceptualising, executing, and empowering disruptive solutions. My fascination with problem-solving began in 2016 when I placed second at a Startup Weekend event—and it has only grown since. Who knew that bringing together teams of dreamers and doers to work 40 intense hours over a weekend to solve a problem could be so addictive?
Fast forward to today, I’ve been fortunate to explore the strategies, processes, and cultures that drive success across eclectic industries. I’ve been a Veterinary Technician, a Policy Analyst, a Senior Editor, a Sociopreneur, an Event Coordinator and a Management Consultant. Each role has shaped my perspective and sharpened my skills. As I complete my MPhil, I’m excited to continue uncovering emerging opportunities and addressing challenges in greenfield areas.
Thus, I challenge myself to remain curious and adaptive in a world full of talented and diverse individuals. Here are some of the areas I’ve been actively engaging with, both professionally and academically:
Implementing Cyber Policy
Ethical and Societal Impacts of AI
ESG Transition Strategies
Austerity and Populism
